According to the
Interestate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC), "Both the originating state, where the child is born, and the receiving state, where the adoptive parents live and where the adoption of the child will take place, must approve the child's movement in writing before the child can legally leave the originating state." So until that happens, we have to remain in Florida. If you think of us, please pray that the paperwork would go through quickly so that we can return home to Minnesota just as soon as possible. Many thanks!
