Lloyd-Jones

Twenty-five years ago today (March 1, 1981), D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones died. (HT: Ref21)

You can listen to his sermons online at the MLJ Recordings Trust.

Founded in 1982, the Trust was set up to restore, distribute and promote the ministry of the late Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones (1899-1981). The 'Doctor', as he was affectionately known, is recognised by many to have been one of the finest British preachers of the twentieth century and was minister of Westminster Chapel, London, from 1938 until 1968. His ministry was based on the clear and systematic teaching and preaching of the Bible, and it was this that has earned him the respect and affection of many throughout the world. It's our prayer that through the ministry of the Trust a new generation will once again discover the importance and the value of expository preaching.

On our site you will find much of interest, including sermons by Dr Lloyd-Jones to read, together with a selection of articles about his life and ministry. A full length biography by John Peters, originally published by Paternoster Press, is now available for you to download free of charge. If you prefer, you can listen to Dr Lloyd-Jones in person via our weekly radio programme 'Living Grace', which is now available on-line.

The Trust also has a collection of over 1500 of Dr Lloyd-Jones' sermons available on audio cassette, and an increasing number (digitally restored) are now also available on CD and the new mp3 format. These, together with all his currently available books, may be ordered through our own secure on-line shopping facility.

Of special interest is that you can order the CD album of Lloyd-Jones' famous sermons on Spiritual Depression.
