Frank Pastore's latest column is an embarrassment--an exceptional example of how not to advocate for truth and critique others, no matter how wrong they are. One cannot simultaneously advocate for the cause of truth and at the same time twist the truth to confirm biases and perpetuate caricatures. It makes about as much sense as trying to use words to defend the idea that all words are meaningless.
Ted Olsen writes: "I'm no fan of Emergent, but a demagogic, counterfactual column like this sure makes me more friendly toward it."
