Emerging Series
A couple of clarifications on the series: (1) I'm not just going to describe; I'll also do some cursory evaluations. There's more to come. (2) In the identification-description part, I've tried to explain it in such a way that Emergent folks would agree with it. That's not because I'm trying to present an overly rosy picture or trying to whitewash the problems with it. It's just that I think it's helpful to first explain what their intentions and goals are as they see it--and only then offer some critique.
