Those who would like an introduction to the spectrum of proposals on a Christian theology of Scripture will likely profit from the new book, Christian Theologies of Scripture: A Comparative Introduction (New York University Press), edited by Justin Holcomb (lecturer in the the Religious Studies and Sociology department at the University of Virginia, lecturer at RTS, and blogger at Common Grounds Online).
While one might wish for more attention to recent evangelical engagements with the doctrine of Scripture, this book will likely fill a historical and ecumenical gap in our studies.
NYU has posted Holcomb's introduction on mapping the theologies of Scripture. You can also view the table of contents, and read an interview with Holcomb regarding the project.
