Overcoming Sin and Temptation

A PDF of the book, Overcoming Sin and Temptation (Owen's three classics, with introduction, outline, glossary, etc.) is now available for free online at JohnOwen.org. Special thanks to Joshua Sowin, who helps me put these sort of things online at the Owen website.

Justin...thanks very much for both the book and making it available like this. I just purchased a copy and am about a third of the way through - I believe this will be a great blessing to the church.
Do I get my money back if I already bought a hard copy? Come on Justin, you need to help me out here...
What a blessing! I can't thank you enough for this.
damn christian cheapskate. don't imagine you'd have given that money to buy a blanket for the homeless guy who got his last ten lost/stolen would you?
I am delighted by this book. I must admit in the past to having been suspicious of some of the modern abridgements of puritan works (I prefer to read in the original languages!!). I often wonder if things are left out that don't fit with the editor's theology.
But I have read your preface with great interest - you have clearly sought to do a faithful and full reproduction (not an abridgement) of this awesome work. Dare I say, it looks as if it might be better than Owen's original!!
It is so important that this teaching is made more accessible to the wider church.
So thank you for your work on this and may the Lord use it mightily.
Thanks for making this important work available to everyone free of charge.
We've updated our published review/recommendation with a link to the PDF.
Justin,
Is there anyway to contact you about coming to speak on the emergent church at Grove City college? My email is rodgerske1@gcc.edu if this is a possibility. Thank you!
