More Experts Weigh In

USA Today reports on the analysis of Gerald Richards. Richards is a document authentication expert who worked for the FBI for 20 years, where he was the chief of its document examination and research unit: "It is highly probable that (the original memos) were computer-generated," Richards said. "And it is highly probable that they were not generated by a typewriter vintage circa 1972."

USA Today also asked Richard Williams--a 23-year vetern of FBI document authentication, who frequently testifies as an expert witness--to investigate. He concludes: "In all probability, the signatures are forgeries."

The only question now is how long CBS will stonewall and who will end up resigning over this.
