Strategic, civilized protest really can make a difference.
Jim Geraghty of the Kerry Spot reports:
I am informed that the head of a CBS affiliate in a large East Coast city is telling viewers who call in that he wants Rather to apologize on 60 Minutes and then resign. This local network official reportedly plans to present the flood of critical emails he has been getting to the network heads in New York.
What can YOU do to help call for Rather's Resignation?

The letter doesn't have to be detailed. You could simply tweak what Chris Cox said in his letter to the Chairman on the Subcommittee: This is a requestfor you to investigate the continued use by CBS News of forged documents concerning the service record of President George W. Bush intended to unfairly damage his reputation and influence the outcome of the 2004 presidential election.
