Laura Bush became the first person from the White House to say the documents are likely forgeries. "You know they are probably altered," she told Radio Iowa in Des Moines yesterday. "And they probably are forgeries, and I think that's terrible, really." (source: WaPo)
President Bush addresses the National Guard Association today. If President Bush were to say something about the forgery and RatherGate, this would be the time and place to do it. I'd love to see it, but I won't get my hopes up.
