Are we sure this comment attributed to Mark Driscoll is authentic? It looks pseudonymous to me.
It's driscoll... in all his acerbic glory. :)
Driscoll's "apology" seemed as ambiguous as Brian's position on the sin of homosexuality.
please let us know when mclaren answers...
er, i mean, responds. i'm not really expecting a clear retort.
Isn't it interesting how controversies such as Chad Allen's sexuality and the "cage fight" (as one blogger put it) between McClaren and Driscoll distract us from the real issue: how are we going to love our homosexual neighbor by laying down our life to bring them to God? Jesus had a reputation for intentionally, specifically bringing prostitutes and tax collectors to repentance, in love and in truth, and giving them the kingdom of God -- it would be so refreshing to hear a plan for how Christian pastors intend to do the same for the homosexuals in their community who are elect for salvation. I don't see many out there who are doing this well.
Justin, not sure if you've seen this but would love for you to check it out and comment - you're probably in better position than most to correct here.
