That's what John Podhoretz says--in all seriousness--about Hugh Hewitt's interview today of Joel Stein. (You can listen to the audio of it here.) Stein wrote a column for this morning's LA Times called I Don't Support Our Troops. I think that I actually agree with Stein's thesis--namely, that it's incoherent to support our troops without supporting the war. (In my book, "supporting our troops" means hoping for and assisting, in whatever ways we can, in the accomplishment of their mission.") But go and read or listen to Hugh's interview for an example of how to ask tough, focused questions.
Update: Joe Carter--who agrees that Stein is way out of his league here but is at least consistent--puts it well: "You can hate the sin, just don’t claim to 'support' the sinner." His whole post is well worth reading.
