Somebody should tell Mike Huckabee to read this blog when he's having a bad day. JT, if he wins you oughta be on the take somehow.

So aside from electability, what's the beef from other Republicans about this guy?

from what I have heard most think his "Fair Tax" is a bit naive in thinking you can just get rid of the IRS for a consumption tax.

I didn't know Mike Huckabee secretly blogged as Justin Taylor. :-)

Seriously, what's with all the Huckabee articles lately? You typically write articles related to reformed theology, which I love reading. I like reading about politics too, but just linking to articles that say "Huckabee is a Christian" doesn't cut it. I've already read plenty of articles like this one from the mainstream media.

I'd like to learn some new things about Huckabee that are relevant to your reformed audience. I know he is Southern Baptist. Is he reformed? Can you find any statements by Huckabee on the relation between man's rebellion against God and the necessity of the civil government to wield the power of the sword? That would make for some edifying discussion in the comments section.

The more you post about this guy, the more I like him - and this coming from a self-avowed political cynic. Thanks for the good info, JT.

I must agree with DJ, the more I read the more I like. My father was really impressed with him on Glenn Becks show the other night and he's a tough sell!

I am from Arkansas and supported Huckabee during his campaigns for Governor. He is a really good guy and is a really likable guy but, he has a habit of making a lot of promises and not following through.

He has a lot of excuses why he didn't get a lot of things accomplished ie: Rep. Govr. in a Dem. State.

I like Huckabee but, I just can't support him right now. If he got the nomination he obviously would be better than any of the Dem. candidates

I need to make a confession.

You know all the posts about Ron Paul all over the internet? Well, those are all from me and my buddy Jethro. We did it as a joke but now it's gotten out of hand.

So I'm coming clean. There are only two of us and we don't really like Ron Paul.

We're sorry.
