Driscoll on "Christ and Media"

Mark Driscoll recently spoke on “Christ and the Media” at Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota. The occasion was the 2008-09 Faith + Thought Lecture Series.

In his message, Mark contends that technology and media can be either obstacles or opportunities for the gospel, depending on how they are used. He provides an overview of how Christians have used technology and the media throughout church history, shares examples of what Mars Hill Church is doing in this vein, and follows up with some Q & A. The entire audio runs about 1 hour and 26 minutes. You’ll find it to be a useful lecture on how the media of the day can help us get the word out about Jesus.
