Martin Luther: by Paul Maier
Speaking of Luther: I started reading to our daughter tonight the story book Martin Luther: A Man Who Changed the World by historian Paul Maier. It has beautiful paintings, and while the story is obviously simplified a bit, it's historically accurate and contains challenging vocabulary that are essential to the real story (indulgences, theses, purgatory, righteousness of God, etc.). It's well worth picking up (and reading!).
