Race and the Race
Stephan and Abigail Thernstrom, co-authors of the very helpful book, America in Black and White: One Nation, Indivisible, have an op-ed in the LA Times today on the role of race in the US Presidential race. Here's the upshot: "the numbers suggest that something has changed dramatically, and that it may be time to rethink some of our most basic assumptions about voters and race."
