Abortion Debate: Boonin vs. Kreeft

A debate will be held on "Is Abortion Morally Justifiable?" This will feature Dr. David Boonin (a University of Colorado philosophy professor, author of In Defense of Abortion) and Dr. Peter Kreeft (prolific author and professor at Boston College). The debate will be at The University of Colorado at Boulder on January 18 at Humanities Room 1B50 at 7:00 PM.If anyone knows if there will be audio or video online of this debate, please let me know and I'll link to it.

I listened to the last debate (link posted in comments). Really left you scratching your head in wonder (and sorrow). I felt like Kreeft fell short of really nailing Boonin on the issue, but felt he had ample opportunity. Hopefully this upcoming debate will fill in the holes better.
Frank Beckwith and David Boonin met and debated in 2005 after the release of Boonin's book (search for either party here). From what I understand, Boonin was unable to mount a significant reply. As far as I know, there is not audio/video available for that debate, either, but Dr. Beckwith's recent book (or this article) should give you a flavor of what he said at the meeting.

Thank you all for your interest in the debate. We hope to tape it in both audio and video formats. I hope to work out the logistics on Wednesday. I understand your qualms with Dr. Kreeft regarding his previous debate with Dr. Boonin. I believe he will be more equipped (hopefully read a little of Beckwith's material -- FYI, Beckwith was our guest speaker in September) this time around to deal with Boonin's unique arguments. I hope to see you there. Feel free to introduce yourself but COME EARLY. I will be the one running around like crazy! ;-) Blessings!
